Dechhen Pema Tshoiling Monastery also known as Takdah Monastery is another major attraction in Takdah. By Flight
Bagdogra is the nearest airport at a distance of around 55 km. After boarding a flight to Bagdogra Airport which is the only airport in the entire North Bengal, you have to rent a cab to reach Takdah.
By Train
The closest airport of Takdah is NJP which is located at a distance of 60 km. So, after boarding a train to this railway station, you have to get a hired car which will help you reach the village within 3 hours.
By Road
From Siliguri, NJP, or Bagdogra, you will be driven via Sevoke road, Teesta, Rambi, etc. Moreover, you can even travel to this hamlet from Darjeeling via Jorebungalow, Peshok Road, 6th Mile, etc.
